Data conversion & logical network inventory system implementation

ECHO provide initial consultancy to specify the data conversion guidelines and standard templates for the conversion (auto migration and manual capture) of the existing network from multiple formats (i.e., Excel, Visio, PDF and Network management system logs) to the target GIS platform. The scope of work included verifying the quality and integrity of the existing physical outside plant for fiber and splice closure, and rack mounted equipment (RME); and object associations between physical and logical data. We utilized our proprietary auto conversion and QAQC tools to auto migrate and verify data accuracy. ECHO also pioneered a two-stage process to provide data conversion between the physical and logical databases.
